PC.Solutions.Net has developed several mobile computing solutions for the construction industry and services based organizations.

A recent solution was to allow service people at BMW Motorcycles of North Houston to be able to schedule service times seamlessly via handheld PDAs and have that information be available in real-time to the entire organization.

This enables any customer point of contact to be able to view and schedule service appointment, anytime, anywhere seamlessly.

This solutions uses Microsoft Exchange 2003 on the back end and Windows based handhelds on the front end. Since all information is kept in Exchange information store, this information is available to users in their Outlook via the web or on their PDAs without requiring investment in any other third party software or licenses.

The PDAs that the employees use are also their mobile phones, so employees only carry one device and don't have to walk around with multiple devices to have access to relevant customer information.
