A Sandbox for you to play in Did you ever wish there was a way to create an environment on your PC so you can browse sites, download stuff and it won't interfere with the rest of the machine? Do you want this without the overhead of a whole new virtual machine? Are activex controls causing problems with your Internet Explorer? Well there is a nice solution to the problem. Obviously first thing anyone will say is "Hey, stop going to those bad sites!", that is hard to do if you are doing research. Inadvertently you'll end up at a site that will try to install stuff on your machine or try to drop off a trojan or two. You need Sandboxie. This software creates a sandbox on your machine and keeps track of all the files, registry changes or any component software tries to install. You'll be amazed at how much stuff gets to your PC when you are browsing with Internet Explorer, you'll notice registry changes, histories, and other component, nicely trapped in the sandbox, keeping the PC running clean. Oh, and it's free for personal use. You can download Sandboxie from www.sandboxie.com. Nadeem Azhar 1/23/2008
